The original archival fineliner. A rigid needle tip in a metal sleeve lays down a precise, mono-width line and can be run against a ruler or stencil without bleeding underneath. Filled with Sakura's waterproof, fade-resistant Pigma pigment ink, so watercolour, marker or gouache can be layered over a dried line without smearing or lifting.
Sold per pen across ten tip widths — 003 (0.15 mm) through 12 (0.70 mm) — and up to 15 ink colours (black available in every size; colours mostly in 01/05/08). The studio-and-lab workhorse for technical drawing, illustration, manga, lettering and journaling.
