A collaboration between Mizuno Sportstyle and Düsseldorf retailer AFEW that reworks the MXR around a desert/sci-fi narrative. The palette pulls from sandy desert tones, and the silhouette is heavily detailed: a custom toe box, a reworked tongue with a wrap-around quick-lace system, unique midsole branding, decorated heel bubbles, asymmetrical Runbird placement, and themed insole artwork — a near-complete rework of the MXR that still keeps its core DNA.
