Slide N Scan
Digital Film Scanner with 5" LCD screen (model RODFS50).
A standalone desktop digitiser for 50mm slides and colour or B&W negatives. Rather than a true optical scanner, it photographs the backlit frame with a CMOS sensor and writes a JPEG straight to an SD card — no computer or software required. The 5" LCD has a wide viewing angle and a gallery mode, so the unit doubles as a desktop photo frame between sessions.
Its main practical advantage over tray-based scanners is the easy-load insert system: strips and mounted slides feed through continuously instead of being repositioned one at a time.
